Sports Utility Vehicle (Jeep), TL8

This is basically the TL6 jeep upgraded to TL8 standards, adding many of the new gadets available. The vehicle is intended for the civilian market and in some cases certain features (smartwheels, all-wheel steering, etc) are dropped to lower cost. Slightly modified versions may be found in police or paramilitary service; armies typically use larger vehicles.

Many jeeps carry extra gear on racks on the sides of the body or top of the hood (usually a spare tire, a full fuel can and various tools like a shovel, axe, pick, etc). It is probably easiest to treat such mountings as hardpoints.
