Generic Sailboats, Small and Large

These are two generic sailboats that might be found around the world, especially in Europe and Asia. Both are intended for coastal waters and lakes, although the lsrger sailboat might venture father from land in some areas. For both boats, the passenger seats double as rowing stations. Additionally, each boat requires one sailot to man the sails. On the small boat, the helmsman often doubles in this role. On the large boat, the sailor occupies one of the passenger seats when not actively tending the sails.
