I normally don't use hyperkinetic missiles, so I hope these designs are correct by VE2 rules and not very abusive. In campaigns without tank-mounted CIWS systems, I strongly suggest these not be used.

These are two cheap rockets designed to defeat medium (56mm) and heavy (75mm) tanks at TL8. In a Space campaign, they have some utility against higher tech ground vehicles. Both use huge APDU warheads and very high speeds (though well under the maximum of 9600 yds/sec). They have very flat trajectories, resulting in no difference between 1/2 Damage and Maximum Ranges.

[Note that a CIWS gun cannot get more than half it's ROF against these missiles (by the definition of ROF), and likely ROF will be 1/3 to 1/4 normal.]

56mm: This uses a disposable launcher with a rifle stock and folding bipod. It is just light enough for one man to carry. On vehicles, it is mounted in multi-shot pods (7 and 19 are common). It is also used in off-route mines. Minimum ST is 10 (12 if fired from the shoulder). It will penetrate DR 2450 half the time.

75mm: This also uses a disposable launcher, but mounts it on a (reusable) tripod. The weapon is barely man-portable and is therefore used in static positions. Vehicles that carry them use either an autoloading launcher or a gun/launcher. It has no minimum ST if fired on it's tripod; if equipped with a rifle stock, it requires ST 19 (easily possible for a battlesuit). The tripod is 25 lbs and $250. The rocket will penetrate DR 5550 half the time.
