This rather unusual hovercraft mounts three turrets, all carrying autocannons for AA purposes. The 37mm turret is set behind the driver's position and has a 180 degree arc from left to right. One quad 20mm turret is mounted on each side, with an arc covering it's side from front to back of the hovercraft. All the turrets are open-topped.
The flak hovercraft serves a dual role as both a land and maritime antiaircraft platform. Effectively replacing a self-propelled AA section, it can be used to escort convoys on land and water, and to provide a mobile platform for bases. Its ability to float lets it be deployed in locations normally inaccessable to AA units.
Loaded mass assumes the cargo space is empty. The vehicle can only carry a small load and still be able to float. If this is not required, up to 1.3 tons of additional ammo and fuel may be carried. The empty space is frequently used as seating by the gun crews when travelling outside of combat, especially in poor weather.
The flak hovercraft has a crew of 12. The driver also operates the radio and serves as overall commander. Each 20mm turret ahs a crew of four: gun commander, gunner and two loaders. The 37mm turret has a crew of three: gun commander, gunner and loader.
