Autovettura Fiat 508 C.M. 4x2 Light Utility Car
The Fiat 508 was originally produced in the early 1930s with several body styles on the chassis. A military version, based on the civilian model for use in colonial areas (primarily Libya and East Africa), entered production in 1939. The vehicle proved to be reliable and robust, though not built in nearly the numbers of the Jeep (p.W106) or Kubelwagen (W:IC72).
The 508 C.M. uses 1.2 gallons of gasoline per hour at routine usage.

Design Notes
The design gSpeed was 59 mph.
Variants
The civilian colonial version was 1.56 tons and powered by an 18-kW engine, but speed remained the same. Body HP was 65 and 7 HP per wheel, with HT 10. The vehicle had a hard top.
