This is a simple fission powered medium tank, based on the LT-17 Copperhead light tank. The turret is almost identical, with improved sensors and communication gear. The hull is larger, with a third crewman (gunner) added to take pressure off the commander. The reactor and drivetrain were upgraded, to handle the much heavier armor the MT-7 carries (compared to the LT-17). Due to its weight, it does not posses the LT-17's amphibious capability but the tank can drive across river and lake bottoms with minimal preparation (namely sealing the gun barrels).
The main gun feeds from two magazines, most often loaded with HEAT and HE. The Slammer missiles must be hand loaded by the commander. For each missile not carried, three additional conventional rounds may be carried, but they also must be handloaded (this can be done without breaking the NBC seal).

Design Notes
Frame is heavy for 450 cf body, 100 cf turret, and 270 cf tracks. The
Adder has heavy compartmentalization, is sealed, has improved suspension,
basic emission cloaking, basic stealth, basic sound baffling and instant
cameleon. Armor is advanced laminate for body and turret and advanced metal
for tracks.
