Alles Gelande Panzer Transporter III

The AGPT (AllGelPzrTpt), a four-legged mecha, was designed as a more mobile means of conveying an infantry squad to the front than a halftrack. Due to limited space available, and for best visibility, the driving controls were set in limited flexibility head-like structure in front of the body, which also was provided with the vehicle’s primary armament, two 3.7mm cannons, augmented with a MG 34. For defense from aircraft and infantry on the sides, another MG 34 was located next to a hatch atop the body. The troops embark via two hatches in the underside, using rope ladders. As the hatches are only 10 feet above the ground, the soldiers can, if required, jump out if the ground is not very hard.

The AGPT has a crew of three. The commander/driver sits in the head. Also in the head is the main gunner (who fires the 3.7cm guns and a MG34). At the top center of the body is a MG34 on a simple pintle mount, fired by the third crewman, who also operates the radio. The AGPT uses 3.6 gallons per hour at routine usage.

Design Notes
The head was treated as a limited rotation turret, with left to right movement.

1,000 rounds of LMG ammo were purchased, 1,200 rounds are used by the design.

If using the “cheap” legged transmission from G:WWII, cost drops to $13,400 and Maint. to 55.
