2mm Nova and 4mm Supernova (original)
These are two early laser weapons, a step below the standard TL8 lasers. The Nova (pistol) and Supernova (rifle) both use a E cell battery which is worn on a belt and connected to the weapon by a tough, thin cable. They may not be hotshotted or autofired.

Also known as the T-Rifle, this weapon is similar to the heavy blaster rifle, but produces a larger electrical charge. It creates a very loud thunderclap when fired, giving a +4 to Hearing rolls, but a -2 to Fright Checks to targets not familiar with the weapon. The T-Rifle will not function in a vacuum, very thin atmospheres or underwater.

The RPL is basically a cross between the military laser rifle and the gatling laser, with three rotating barrels. It uses a D cell and comes with a carrying handle and bipod. It is not a standard battlefield weapon, but instead issued to commandos who need to deal out a great deal of laser fire quickly but require a lighter weapon than the standard Gatling laser.

This is a highly modified military laser carbine. It comes with a folding stock, bayonet lug and 6x telescopic sight. It also features a variable power setting; Each shot uses 36 kWs at standard setting. Every extra d6 costs 18 kWs, up to each shot doing 10d, but every additional 2d6 reduces Malf by 1. The weapon uses a B-cell, good for 720 kWs. TL 10.

Like the Assault Laser, but based on the military laser rifle. It lacks the folding stock and each shot uses 54 kWs (+27 kWs per extra d6). It can use a B-cell (720 kWs) or a belt-worn C-cell (7200 kWs). TL 10.

Stoner 63 Weapon System (historical)
This is a series of six 5.56mm weapons (carbine with folding stock, rifle, bipod light machinegun, tripod light machinegun, heavy machinegun and coaxial machinegun) built around a common reciever. Any one (and only one) of these weapons can be assembled in 15 minutes from a complete Stoner 63 kit ($3000, 22 lbs, includes canvas carrying bag and six 30-round magazines). The bipod LMG was tested during Vietnam by the Army and the Navy with disappointing results. If not cleaned regularly (once a day), Malf drops from Crit to 16.

Hundley Arms M-143 Airico Minigun (original)
Based on the X series, the M-143 is a man-portable three-barreled automatic weapon, using caseless 5.56mm ammo. The weapon feeds through two cylinders in back, each with a capacity of 50 rounds ($75, 2 lbs each). The gun comes with a sling (allowing it to be fired from the hip) and a bipod. The gun has a removable firing grip with over and under attachment points for use with a neural interface (no modifications needed) or fixed mount solonoid (such as a coaxial MG). The gun has no sights except for a built-in laser scope (SS 16, Acc 6 if disabled).

Hundley Arms MG-29 Machinegun (GURPS Vehicles 1/e playtest)
This is a 7mm multi-barreled MG using caseless ammo. It is just light enough for one man to carry. Normally fired from a turret or fixed mount, a tripod ($500, 50 lbs) is also available. It serves as a platoon support weapon and a CIWS for automated security sytems and on armored vehicles. The ammo, though not the magazine, is interchangable with that of the assault carbine, Armstrong and M-131. Ammo is $600 and 10 lbs per magazine.

The M-23 is a low-velocity 20mm rifle. It feeds from a cylinder located behind the pistol grip (a sort of bullpup revolver) and uses caseless ammo. Due to the slow reload time, it is used more by commandos than battlefield troops, and can be hidden under a trenchcoat. Ammo weighs 2.5 lbs per 5 rounds; cost and effects are as for AG-17/20 shells.

RR-60 60mm Recoiless Rifle (original)
This unusual weapon uses vented gases to counterbalance the muzzle blast, resulting in low recoil and an easily portable weapon. However, anyone behind the weapon and within 5 yards takes 3d dam when fired. Ammo types include HEAT ($80, below), HE ($50, 6dx4 cr) and smoke ($40) in 5-round clips weighing 25 lbs. The rifle can be shoulder-fired, but comes with a bipod which forms the forestock when folded and visual aids may be fitted. The RR-60 is a cheap way to defeat high-tech armor. TL8.

Resembling the old M-79 grenade launcher, the gyroslugger fires rocket-assisted grenades of several types, which include: HE (3d[2d], $20), HEAT (2d+1(10), $20), HEDP (2d+1(5)[2d], $20), API (6d+1(2), 25), flare (1d burn until put out, if fired in air will remain for 1 minute, $20), smoke (3yd x 3yd cloud, one minute, $20), paint (1.5yd x 1.5yd cloud, but lasts 1 second, $20). All rounds weigh 0.25 lbs. The two-barrel version is 2.75 lbs and $1500. An under-rifle model is SS 12, Acc 4, 0.75 lbs, and $1200.

M202 Flame Weapon (Car Wars, historical)
The M202 is a 4-barrel, reloadable rocket launcher. The rounds have incendiary effects, burning for 40 seconds at 1800 degrees F over a 15 yard radius; the M202 was intended to replace the flamethrower. Explosive (6dx3 dam) and HEAT (9d(10)) warheads are possible. The launcher is a large rectangular, open-ended box with a sight and trigger; ammo is a 4-round clip. $400 and 15 lbs per four-round clip, $200 and 11.5 lbs for the launcher. It has the same backblast as the M72 LAW.

This is a light, disposable anti-armor weapon similar to the M-72 LAW, but has very little backblast (1 yard behind the firer, so it can be fired in a confined space), makes no more noise than a pistol when fired and has significantly more power.

15.7mm Micro grenades (historical)
Designed to be fired from a standard 12 gauge shotgun, micro grenades have poor range and payloads; the standard round has no fragmentation effects. A tear gas round does only 1d6 damage on impact, but fills the hex with tear gas, and the adjacent one in the direction the round was fired (unless blocked by a solid object). Also available is a HEAT round, doing 1d(5) damage. Cost of any type is $10. Cost, weight, SS, Acc and ammo depend on the gun used.
