Although best known for its budget VTOL aircraft, this Russian aeronautical firm has begun marketing mid-range helicopters for the civilian and police markets. The vehicle below is their most recent entry into the law enforcement market. The helicopter is designed for multiple roles, including rescue, medivac, SWAT insertion, general transport, riot control, surveillance and traffic control.
Perhaps the most controversional feature of the P403 is the 40mm AGL. While this is loaded with tear gas for crowd suppression (or assisting a SWAT assault) in most jurisdictions, there is nothing to prevent some users from using a more lethal load.

Design Notes
Frame is light for 285 cf fair streamlined body, 2.22 cf turret, 5.7
cf rotors and 14.3 cf skids. Rotors are folding. The helicopter has liquid
crystal skin (-2 spotting modifier) and basic sound baffling (-4 hearing
modifier).
