This represents the inexperienced crew of a British 2-pdr AT gun in North Africa in 1941. With fairly minor changes, these characters can be used as crews of 25mm to 47mm AT gun crews in other armies. See p.W:AKM59 for a list of a British soldier's standard gear. The gun is towed by a Bedford 15cwt 4x2 truck (using a Standard Wheeled chassis, 2.3 tons empty and travelling at 59 mph over 260 miles). During the North Africa campaign, some units simply placed and fired the gun from the truck bed ("portee" mount) rather than just towing it.

2-pdr AT gun: Use the stats for the 37mm AT gun (p.W101) except that weight is doubled and, with the wheels raised and resting on it's three legs, it has 360 degree traverse. Performance stats for the 2-pdr (40mm medium AT gun) are in W:Motor Pool and W:All The King's Men. If those books are not available, raise damage to 6dx6(2) (only AP shells are available).

Notes: Unlike the rest of the crew, this soldier was originally trained to be a forward observer, but, for some inexplicable quirk of military bureaucracy, was assigned to an anti-tank crew after training. While this means he is just another loader most of the time, his special skills have sometimes come in handy when attacked. He also normally drives the truck.
