This week's characters all, in some way, have a connection to the night or sky.

Joe the Astrologer
Setting: Fantasy

ST: 10 [0]; DX: 9 [-10]; IQ: 12 [20]; HT: 10 [0]

Notes: This NPC was once a fortune-telling charlatan until one day he awoke to find out that he had an actual occult power. However, he mistakenly believes that his study of astrology actually tapped into something and interprets all omens through the stars and planets (while in fact his Oracle ability has nothing to do with Atrology, or vice vera).

Jane the Mistress of the Night
Setting: Fantasy

ST: 10 [0]; DX: 10 [0]; IQ: 10 [0]; HT: 10 [0]

Advantages: Divine Favor (Minor Goddess of the Night, 12 or less)  [40]; Strong Will +2 [8]

Skills: Bard-10 [2]; Cooking-12 [4]; Courtesan-12 [6]; Diplomacy-8 [1]; Fast-Talk-9 [1]; Sex Appeal-10 [2]; Theology-9 [2]

Gear: Peasant's clothing.

Notes: This NPC represents a sometimes prositute and sometimes cook who was picked by a minor goddess to be one of her earthly representatives, much to the NPC's consternation. Note that the NPC has no clerical vestment and her low status partly represents the church's disapproval of her actions (but not to the point of counting as an Enemy).

Joe the Dream Weaver
Setting: Modern

"Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget today's pain"
-- "Dream Weaver", Gary Wright

ST: 10 [0]; DX: 10 [0]; IQ: 13 [30]; HT: 9 [-10]

Advantages: Ritual Aptitude +5 [5]

Disadvantages: Epilepsy [-30]; Secret (Mage) [-10]

Skills: Augury-12 [4]; Dreaming-12 [4]; Meditation-13 [4]; Occultism-13 [2]; Ritual Magic-13 [8]; Symbol Drawing-12 [2]

Paths and Rituals: Path of Dreams-13 [8]; Dreamwalk-13; Dream Visitor-13 [2]; Slumber-12 [2]; Dream Sanctum-12 [4]; Night Terrors-8; Dream Shackles-5

Gear: Normal clothes

Notes: This NPC represents a ritual mage who disguises himself as a normal dream interpreter. None of his clients knows he has real supernatural powers. He always has a free consultation the day before he actually interprets dreams. This allows him to gather some symbolic represenatation of the client, be it hair or a photo. He then uses this in a ritual he performs that night to enter the person's dream.
